Gregory J. Hagglund
Greg’s experience in the live entertainment industry ranges from national music buyer for the country’s largest music distributor and retailer, to producing one of television’s most watched world-wide entertainment spectaculars.
As CEO of Clear Channel Entertainment’s Latin American division and joint venture with Grupo Televisa (the largest Spanish speaking entertainment company in the world) Greg was responsible for overseeing the development of the company’s on-going Latin initiatives in North and South America.
Greg’s other areas of responsibility at Clear Channel Entertainment encompassed the entertainment-marketing spectrum, including serving as the Executive Producer of the most watched ever Super Bowl Halftime Show, starring U2 in New Orleans.
Hagglund also served as SVP and partner of St. Louis-based Contemporary Group, which was acquired by SFX Entertainment (now Live Nation).
At Contemporary, Greg was responsible for the marketing efforts in the launch of Riverport Amphitheatre (now Verizon Amphitheater – St. Louis), and Sandstone Amphitheater (now Capitol Federal Park – Kansas City). These two amphitheaters were consistently ranked as top ten amphitheaters in the US.
Greg also co-founded Contemporary’s sales promotion and entertainment marketing division – CMI (now IMG Live). The agency created and executed national award winning consumer promotion programs for Coca-Cola, Nestlé’s Purina, Unilever, CBS Television Network and Anheuser-Busch.
